"Our aim in the SAP R/3® implementation was to prepare the entire organization and its employees for the new business processes, in a holistic fashion. In TTS we chose a partner that has broken new ground in terms of "user qualifications" that deliver holistic process competence. Together, we put the employees center stage. Henkel Puts Its Employees Center Stage
As part of the Cognis project at Henkel KGaA 420 end users took part in 78 training events, preparing them successfully for their work with SAP R/3. They received training in: SAP overview; information about process and systems integration of Cognis/Henkel; transaction training and role play.
The training used real day-to-day situations rather than abstract procedures, so the relevance to the business was always clear. We stepped up the level of communication between end users with interdisciplinary role play, and achieved greater awareness of upstream and downstream processes and system functions.
On top of this, post-information support was available for the first six weeks after go-live.
