Full Steam Ahead With Well-Prepared In-House-Consultants
In 2006 education of SAP consultants was on the agenda at SBB Swiss Railways, the largest travel and transport company in Switzerland, as part of an SAP implementation project. SBB decided to educate the internal consultants with the help of TTS knowledge transfer exerts. To start with, SBB and TTS developed a multi-tiered all-embracing concept, which included intensive coaching of the in-house trainers in the SAP system. In-house trainers were supervised over the entire project duration. This was all very motivating for the consultants. In addition, SBB could be confident that the in-house trainers would be able to offer a high level of SAP process knowledge and situation handling know-how in their role as points of contact in SBB's operating divisions.
