IT solution to support standardised HR processes at E.ON

How the electricity and gas utilities company E.ON evaluated and implemented SaaS with SuccessFactors for its reward management.

E.ON is one of the largest private energy companies in Europe with further operations in Russia and North America. In 2012, the company had 72,000 employees and generated revenues of approximately € 132 billion. E.ON’s corporate structure consists of global business units, regional units and support functions with global responsibility, including E.ON Business Services (EBS).

Since 1 October 2013 EBS has bundled together all of the organisation’s international finance, HR and IT business services in a multi-functional support unit with common cross-department functions. The new company has around 3,400 employees. It has four legal entities within Germany (EBS GmbH, EBS Berlin GmbH, EBS Hannover GmbH and EBS Regensburg GmbH) and a further eight in Benelux, the United Kingdom, Italy, Rumania, Sweden, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
