Setting up the SAP training plan
So that open questions become a clear plan.
You know which services, resources, and budgets are needed for qualification. This allows you to realistically plan internal capacities and strategically deploy external support.
We connect roles, processes, and changes with specific learning needs. This makes it clear who needs to know what and which learning content and formats are actually required.
Project team, change, key users, and other stakeholders know which tasks they are responsible for. Clear responsibilities prevent gaps, duplicate work, and late coordination loops.
Good planning makes the difference in the course of a project.
When qualification starts without reliable planning
- The actual effort becomes visible too late. Only during the course of the project does it become clear how many target groups, learning content, materials, and trainings are actually needed.
- Internal resources are overestimated. Key users and the project team are expected to additionally create content, test, or take over trainings – even though their capacities are already tied up in the project.
- Responsibilities remain unclear. Tasks between change management, learning, departments, key users, and external partners are passed along or completed double.
- Learning offerings arise based on assumptions. Without a structured learning needs analysis, there is a risk of having too many, too few, or content and formats that are unsuitable for the respective role.
- Time pressure arises in later phases. Open decisions regarding content, tools, resources, and trainings must be made as the go-live date approaches.
When conception and planning create clarity early on
- You recognize the qualification needs. Roles, changes, and learning requirements are systematically analyzed and form the basis for further actions.
- You plan with realistic efforts. Internal and external resources are considered early on to avoid bottlenecks later that arise from seemingly available capacities.
- You create clear responsibilities. Tasks, interfaces, and approvals are defined so that all participants know what they are responsible for.
- You make informed decisions. Learning formats, media, tools, and methods are tailored to target groups, project requirements, and existing structures.
- You can then take over yourself. The concept provides a solid foundation for implementation – regardless of whether your team, tts, or other partners take the next steps.
From open questions to a robust qualification plan
You do not have to assign the entire S/4HANA qualification to tts. We can specifically set up the design and planning with you and then provide you with a solid foundation for your own implementation – or support you in further project phases if needed.
Together, we will examine your S/4HANA project, relevant stakeholders, existing learning and change structures, as well as organizational conditions. This creates a shared understanding of what the qualification must achieve.
4. Planning resources and responsibilities
We clarify tasks, interfaces, and responsibilities and estimate both internal and external efforts. This way, you will know early on what capacities are needed and which tasks your team can realistically take on.
We examine roles, processes, and changes and determine who needs which knowledge and skills. The learning needs analysis forms the basis for content, formats, materials, and subsequent training measures.
5. Prepare implementation securely
We translate the decisions into a concrete roadmap for the next project phases – including work packages, processes, and necessary prerequisites. This allows your team to continue working on a solid foundation or to selectively add further services from tts.
We define how the different target groups are meaningfully enabled: with appropriate learning methods, media, and learning journeys, as well as – where relevant – learning platforms and on-the-job support.
Here you are right if ...
- ... you need to set up your S/4HANA qualification but do not yet have a solid concept for procedures, resources, and responsibilities.
- ... you need clarity on who needs to learn what and when, and what measures are actually required for this.
- ... you want to know early on what internal and external efforts will be required for your project.
- ... you want to prevent key users, project teams, or changes from being overwhelmed later by unplanned training tasks.
- ... you initially only need concept development and planning and would like to take on the subsequent implementation yourself or decide flexibly later.
Do you want to know what target groups, measures, resources, and structures your qualification project really needs? Together we will develop a solid foundation for implementation – regardless of whether you take over yourself afterwards or use further support from tts.
